Post Mount Grills

With all of the grill options available today, how does someone choose the right one? Or better yet, what are the differences between some of the grills? After all, a lot of them seem the same! We know that purchasing a grill can be confusing and that you have a lot of questions, and that is why we are here to help!

Two confusing grill options are post mount grills vs. pedestal grills. More specifically, they are confusing because they often look the same. An internet search of them even results in these two types of grills as interchangeable. So, is there a difference between them, and if so, what is that difference? Truthfully, the difference in these types of grills is dependent on the manufacturer. Some manufacturers consider a pedestal grill to have a tube, square post, or V- like shape that makes the center portion of the grill which supports the actual grill head. In these instances the grill will have a flat base or base with wheels and is not generally considered a permanent structure. On the other hand, some manufacturers only consider grills with a V-like shape to be pedestals. Conversely, some manufacturers consider a post mount grill to be any grill that rests on a cylindrical post and is anchored directly into the ground as a permanent structure. Then again, other manufactures have post mount grills that may or may not be permanent, giving you the choice of having a flat base and bolts or the ability to anchor it directly into the ground.

No matter which type of grill mount you are looking for, both have their advantages. Both of these styles come without storage space, which is great for the family that has limited space or does not need storage for their grill. Otherwise, the decision really comes down to whether or not you want a portable grill or permanent grill. But keep in mind that some grills have options for both, so do not count anything out until you know the upgrades that it offers!

We are confident that no matter which type of grill you choose, you will find grilling to be so much more satisfying with a new, high end barbecue. And remember we probably have the best grill for you!
