RETURNS - All Indoor Fireplaces are shipped knocked down and typically require assembly. Fireplaces must be inspected within 3 days of delivery or all sales are final. Should there be a manufacturing defect or challenge, buyer must contact PatioShoppers, Inc., in writing within 3 days of delivery for instructions on how to return or remedy the issue or all sales will be considered final. Indoor fireplaces are “non returnable” once they have been assembled, installed, fired up and or in use for “any” length of time, unless there is a clear manufacturing defect. Patioshoppers is a reseller of said products only and is in no way considered mechanical engineers or responsible for particular heat loads or calculations therein. Should PatioShoppers, Inc., so choose to receive a returned item, it is at Patioshoppers, Inc’s., sole discretion and a 35% restocking fee, plus shipping and handling will apply in all cases except manufacturer defects unless Patioshoppers so chooses to waive such fees. All authorized return items must be in “brand new” un-used, saleable condition or all sales are considered final. Should an item be returned with out proper authorization, Patioshoppers, Inc. is not responsible for return of any fees until proper steps and authorization is given. Once an item has been returned and received, it will be inspected by the appropriate party. If any parts or components have been damaged in any way, it is the customer responsibility to pay for additional damage. Patioshoppers is not responsible for electrical wiring, gas piping and or fuel containment as needed for specific units, and can not be held liable for installation challenges or upgrades of any kind, before or after installation. If a customer so chooses to acquire his or her own contractor for product installation, Patio Shoppers, Inc. cannot be held liable for the installation costs regardless of whether a specific unit was recommended by a representative of Patio Shoppers or not. It is highly recommended a mechanical engineer be consulted prior to any purchase or installation of permanent or wall mounted units. Fireplace specifications have been included as a guideline and are only intended as a general idea of heating ranges or capacities. All indoor heating situations differ and buyer is responsible to acquire their own heat load calculations, permits or engineering as needed for proper heating in their specified locations. Patioshoppers, customer service representatives and employees are in no way considered manufacturers representatives or professional heating consultants, and can only give best recommendations for heating specified areas obtained from the specific manufacturer’s literature or manufacturer provided training. Patioshoppers, Inc, its employees and manufactures, can not be held accountable for a customer’s specific choice, style or size unit. Patioshoppers is not, and can not be held liable for improper heating of a specific unit of any kind. PatioShoppers, Inc., can not be held liable for any claims or damages of personal property, or bodily harm, or death as a result of any burn, explosion, fire of any type issues deemed as a result of misuse, handling, manufacturer defects, accidents or any reason there of.

30 Day Risk Free Trial While normally requests to return items for any preference reason must be made in writing within 10 days of the delivery date of the item, Electric Fireplace products are offered with a 30 day risk free trial which extends the time to make a request for return to 30 days from delivery date of the product. When returning an item for any reason, the item MUST be packaged in the original carton. Items that have been scratched or dented by, set up, placement in stands, bases or tables, movement of furniture, etc., are considered un-sellable and or no longer as new condition. Un-sellable items will not be accepted for return unless there has been a clear manufacturing defect or warranty issue. All other terms related to preference returned items remain in effect as stated under our General Return & Warranty Policies.

What is White Glove Delivery Service?

Non-Stop DeliveryWhen adding the White Glove Service option to your purchase our delivery center will schedule an appointment with you for delivery. The trained and uniformed delivery team will then deliver your purchase directly to your door and will take care of unpacking your purchase, placing it in the pre-determined location, and the removal of packaging materials. As with any product delivery it is important to examine your products immediately for any shipping damage and note that it is what was ordered. If an item arrives damaged or in error, the original packaging will need to be retained in order to resolve the challenge.
 
Standard Truck Delivery
If the product(s) ordered arrives via freight carrier they will arrange to deliver the item(s) when you are present.  With Standard Freight Delivery you will be required to move the package off of the truck yourself. You may need to arrange to have someone there to assist you. As with any product delivery it is important to examine your products immediately for any shipping damage and note that it is what was ordered. If an item arrives damaged or in error, the original packaging will need to be retained in order to resolve the challenge.
 
Liftgate Delivery
For an additional $65.00 the freight carrier can be contracted to perform "Liftgate Services".  With liftgate service the carrier will bring the item(s) off the truck to curbside.  You may need to arrange to have someone there to assist you in moving the package from the curb your location of choice on your property. As with any product delivery it is important to examine your products immediately for any shipping damage and note that it is what was ordered. If an item arrives damaged or in error, the original packaging will need to be retained in order to resolve the challenge.
 
White Glove Inside Delivery
When you choose to add the White Glove Service option to your purchase our delivery center will schedule an appointment with you for delivery. The trained and uniformed delivery team will then deliver your purchase directly to your door and will take care of unpacking your purchase, placing it in your pre-determined location, and the removal of packaging materials.  If an item arrives damaged or in error, the original packaging will need to be retained in order to resolve the challenge.
 
White Glove Delivery with Light Assembly
When you choose to add the White Glove Service option to your purchase our delivery center will schedule an appointment with you for delivery. The trained and uniformed delivery team will then deliver your purchase directly to your door and will take care of unpacking your purchase, placing it in your pre-determined location, removal of packaging materials, and a maximum of 1 hour of light assembly of your product by the delivery team.  If an item arrives damaged or in error, the original packaging will need to be retained in order to resolve the challenge.
 
IMPORTANT NOTE:  Regardless of chosen delivery option, or the condition of any shipping carton(s), the customer is responsible to thoroughly inspect the condition of all items delivered upon receipt.  Any damages must be noted on the delivery receipt and PatioShoppers.com must be notified immediately to allow for claim filing with the shipping carrier. If this procedure is not followed the customer will be responsible for filing any claims for damage with the freight company.
