The neck of the base fits poles up to 1 1/2 inches in diameter with two fasteners that can be turned tightly to fit. For larger umbrellas with 2 " poles, there is an option for a tube of a fitting size. This very portable base makes moving your umbrella from place to place almost effortless through the use of built in wheels at the outer edge.
